As you've probably figured out by now, I have a thing for imagining what happened "behind the scenes" in my favorite series. XD
I loved how Bentley and Penelope's love story played out. But I think it would have been a bit better if we had gotten more scenes with them interacting as buddies and growing closer before Penelope's shining moment of romantic badassery at the end of the Pirate level.
Also, I think it would make sense for Penelope to be more upset by her initial screw ups in the field than she let on. So I like to think that Bentley reassured her while he helped her get the blinding dust out of her eyes and, after having his first real in depth conversation with her, came to see her as a friend/person first instead of just viewing her as a potential girlfriend. And that she warmed up to him after he stopped being so damn pushy and just treated her like a normal person.

Oh man, I would've love to see this in the game! I loved Sly 3 (heck, I'm probably part of the minority who thinks it was just as awesome as Sly 2 if not more) but scenes like this would've explored Bentley and Penelope's relationship. They still had good chemistry, but this was a pretty much a missed opportunity.
And whilst I enjoyed Sly 4, I really want to pretend that Penelope never betrayed Bentley in the first place. Just no. Sanzaru, you should no make this happen.
